When you’re winning, everything seems to go right.
When everything goes wrong, you fight.
Think of the Titanic voyage.
In the first half of the voyage, the passengers were winning— successful in their own lives, moving confidently toward a destination they thought was guaranteed.
Then the circumstances changed.
In a single moment, everything that had been going right went catastrophically wrong— through no fault of their own.
Winning no longer mattered.
What mattered was continuing anyway— and fighting.
