The last mile takes longer than all the other miles added together.

The last mile is where fatigue speaks the loudest, and purpose has to answer.

In wrestling and in life, finishing strong usually costs more than starting ever did, because the end demands everything the beginning only promised.

That is why so few people separate themselves there—because the last stretch does not test your talent as much as it reveals your will.
