I Get To…
When you change the words from “I have to” to “I get to.”
Your life changes.
When you change the words from “I have to” to “I get to.”
Your life changes.
When life punches you in the mouth, wipe your lip and let that punch bring out the best of you.
Thoughts From the top row at The Joey Davidson Tournament. Quality finals with 5 NYS Placewinners – Killian Foy, Max Gallagher, Jared Weinhaus, Joey Sparacio and Zach Redding spread throughout the weights. John Tietjen from Sachem East is very good, great approach. Max Gallagher is one of my […]
The greatest gift that you can give someone this holiday season is to be present. Be 100% fully engaged present. Give presence over presents. Happy Holidays.
Your mindset will always take you further than your body wants to go.
If you want to make a leap from one year to the next in wrestling, feed the good chatter in your head.
We’ve all been in that hallway before.
Wrestlers are known for their work ethic and their ability to earn their way.
Expect, then inspect, then apply.
You don’t get to your goals by taking the easy way out.
Mr.Passaro, two weeks ago I told my girlfriend about a book I thought I would like to read. Before I could order it myself she showed up at my apartment and had a surprise for me, it was your book “Every Breath Is Gold, Complete Series.”
I was very appreciative knowing she was thinking of me.
Although I was slightly disappointed because the book I was talking about was “Dominate.”
Twenty minutes ago I just finished the book. It only took me three days to finish it. That might not seem like a hard task for some except I have never read a whole book before in my life.
Your book has opened my eyes to many things.
Most importantly I realized my happiness does not depend on my situation, but what I make of it and what I learn from it.
Secondly, that coincidences in life aren’t meaningless.
This really hit me when I was toward the end of your book and came across the chapter titled “3 am Emails.”
This gave me a chuckle because here I am working the midnight shift in a tire factory and I can’t decide whether I should contact you or not.
The second I had seen the chapter title I knew what it was about and I knew I had to reach out to you. It was no coincidence that she had got me the wrong book, I was meant to read this.
There was a time I was sour about all of my past hardships and I’ve always thought about how different it would be if things went exactly as I hoped.
But now I know every one of them has taught me a lesson and better prepared me for my next obstacle.
I would like to say thank you from a fellow wrestler.
